Local Screens
Local noise screens are designed and placed in consultation with the municipality and the property owner concerned. We then deliver the noise screens to you as a contractor for assembly.
Contact usPatio means a private or shared area such as a balcony, terrace or similar that is directly adjacent to the home. For multi-dwelling buildings, a shared, delimited patio can be accepted if it is large enough and suitably located.
Noise protection at patio
When the Swedish Transport Administration noise protects patios, they want to create a better outdoor environment for residents along the railway. A patio can be protected either by moving it to a better position in the garden or with a local screen.
The Swedish Transport Administration pays for both options unless a noise-protected patio already exists. A local screen can be positioned and designed in different ways. The important thing is that it meets both the property owner’s wishes and the Swedish Transport Administration’s requirements. Therefore, the property owner and the Swedish Transport Administration plan the location and design together.
In some cases, local displays require planning permission. The Swedish Transport Administration then seeks this after consultation with the property owner.
